Futaba 9CAP Elevon Mixing Instructions

I own a Futaba T9CAP 75MhZ PCM radio, this radio has the capability to do elevon mixing at the transmitter.  I was asked by a fellow builder to create an instruction page showing how to setup this feature, I will more than likely create a few more pages in the future showing you how to use the other neat features of this radio.

Test Setup (Airknife's Carcas, FP-R138DP Recierver & Team Delta BE)

This is my test setup, the guts from Airknife (Futaba Servos & Foam Wheels) the Futaba FP-R138DP Receiver and a 24v Team Delta Battery Eliminator.

When you turn on your radio you see this screen showing you the current model you are running, your trim values, battery level and timers.  To access the Elevon and other mixing features we must enter the advanced menu.

After holding down the menu button for 3 sec's and then pressing the button once there after, you will see the advanced menu.  To get to the second page of the advanced menu rotate the navigation knob you then need to highlight the elevon menu, press down on the navigation knob to enter that menu.

Your next task will be to activate the elevon feature, to do this use the selection or cursor buttons to highlight the (INH) next to the MIX> selection, then use the navigation knob to change the (INH) to (ACT).  Elevon mixing is now active, you may need to play around with your trims to balance out the controls.  You can look on page 48 and 49 of your manual for an explanation of what the % do.
